"The Raccoon's Den" is an entertainment web series on YouTube that premiered in November 29, 2009. The series was created by Bandit (Christopher Parque Johnson) and originally used as a personal vlog until he attended a local furmeet in his area. Since then, he segued towards documenting and sharing his experiences at several events within the Furry community of Southern California. Generally focused on local meet-ups and conventions, Bandit would explore the events and interact with the attendants. TRD became a group project over the first few seasons as other members of the fandom would join in to help.

In 2013, TRD released a short film, "Another Goddamn Furry Movie", where the group explored several events within the SoCal Furs community, providing a more interactive experience of the local culture. Since then, TRD moved on to more in-depth surveys on matters within the fandom, fun challenges and a wider variety of content, namely short comedic sketches and a behind-the-scenes podcast.

In their seventh season, TRD took an experimental curve in their production to incorporate a side story that explored the personal lives of the group during their adventures in the fandom's events. As of 2019, TRD has developed a collective cast of 15 members with 100 episodes over seven seasons and previous partnerships with Scale Lab and Channel Frederator Network. Whether you're a furry or you're curious about the fandom, we aim to provide entertainment and promote discussion through our ever-growing community!
